- Just finished my online BlueCard and wanted to say thanks and congratulations for putting together the best IM training package I have ever seen. I undertook my own departments Company Officer training in 1996 and our (Battalion Chief equivalent) IM program back in 2003, both were crap. .... Online BlueCard lifts things to a whole new level.... I look forward to any future updates you guys produce.
- "I have a head full of radio traffic and tactical priorities. I just finished taking part in the first Blue Card Command Instructor Certification class. Twelve of us were exercised, role-played, and otherwise challenged for six days at the Clay Fire Territory Command Training Center. After completing the fifty-hour Blue Card online course, we all had a good base of knowledge on the theories of hazard zone management, but the certification class gave us the opportunity to put theory into practice." Peter Sells, Division Chief of Training, Toronto Fire (Ret.)
- "The knowledge shared is money for calls not run yet! Blue Card is improving on how we do it now and provides insight into how to solve the strategic and tactical problems that may come up on the incident scene . The video instruction was a big help from a tutorial standpoint and provides interesting points to consider regarding what to do . The radio traffic exercises were a good template for how it should sound and made it easy to assemble my thoughts for radio communication." Web Marshall Jr.
- "The Blue Card Hazard Zone Management Program is much more then an incident command training curriculum. The Blue Card program is a response and deployment system that provides a strong safety component. The program provides a realistic, real-world response system for all types and sizes of fire departments. The Blue Card program should be adopted by every regional mutual aid system throughout the Country" ....Timm Schabbel, Fire Chief, Clay Fire Territory
- "I could not wait to tell you that I was just the IC on my first structure fire since completing the course. It was a single story residence with a fully involved attached garage with extension into the residence and involvement to the next door D side residence as well. I implemented the 8 functions of command and cannot believe how well the call went in comparison to past incidents. Thanks you so much for the class and be sure to pass my thanks on to the Brunacinis."...recently Certified Blue Card Trainer
- Just completed the course, very impressive. Although fire based, is totally adaptable to EMS, ESPECIALLY
to the supervision side. Fits in with NIMS, all ICS strengthened and even
fit in with what we call BCERMS here (BC Emerg Resp Mgmt System). I'm totally impressed and endorse this strongly. I found myself dealing with an incident late last
week and 1/2 way thru it realized I was already using the teachings and
applying all of this material to that event. I thank you for the opportunity ……to complete this.
Totally appreciative! ……EMS professional
- Standard Conditions – Standard Actions – Standard
Outcomes. It’s been sixteen years since I ran my first fire, I have taken
a ton of courses and read almost everything on this subject and nothing has
explained or simplified the management of an emergency scene better. ....Industrial Fire Chief (recent attendee at Train the Trainer session)
- "The Blue Card Hazard Zone Management program provides us with a consistent approach to delivering IMS training for our Company and Command Officers. We have used the Brunacini IMS system for years and this program allows learners to work at their own pace during the e-learning phase of the training and they benefit from each others experiences during the 3 day intensive, in class, simulation phase. MFES will be further leveraging the Blue Card program in our new joint training center currently under construction."
